Zemira Draper, son of William Draper, Sr., and Lydia Lathrop, was born at Northumberland, Upper Canada. Amy Terry, was born at York, Home District, Upper Canada. Zemira's early life; baptism in 1833 by Brigham Young; Amy's LDS baptism in 1838 and her family's participation in the forced movement of the Mormons from Missouri to Illinois in 1839; her marriage to Zemira in 1842; persecution in Nauvoo, Illinois; exodus west; arrival in the Salt Lake Valley, 1848; settlement of Willow Creek, 1850; Indian troubles, 1851; Willow Creek changed to Draperville, 1854; settlement in Rockville, 1862; loss of cotton mill by fire, 1863; blessing given to Amy by one of the three Nephites; Zemira's appointment to preside over the Rockville Ward, 1869; child purchased from the Indians, 1869; death of Zemira, 1876; blessings and healings given by Amy; Amy called as Relief Society President, 1876-1877; death of Amy, 1900.
